I help create new products by developing the business models and organizing the teams that deliver these products.
The process of identifying new opportunities, assessing alternative solutions, selling the concept to investors, defining the requirements, building the team, executing the plan and then seeing the product in use is what I most enjoy.
I have had the privilege throughout my career to lead smart, motivated, high performing teams who relentlessly pursue excellence in all that they do. In order to foster a culture of excellence I identify and communicate a clear and compelling vision, eliminate roadblocks, solve problems, identify opportunities for growth, and encourage my team to keep driving forward.
Early on in my career, as an electrical engineer, I designed hardware and software for use in mobile communications equipment. My curiosity for all things related to the technology I was designing led me to expand my career outside of engineering by leading cross-functional product development teams that had responsibility from product definition to sales. This cross-functional experience laid the foundation for leadership positions in business development, product development, program & project management, operations, board advisor/member, M&As, corporate strategy and intellectual property management.
My most treasured memories are of the teams I helped create and seeing them perform and achieve their goals. I hope to continue to help build and lead teams that are as passionate as I am about bringing high tech solutions to market.
